Our History.
Since 2015, Elmington Elevates has been investing in our community as volunteers, by providing needed goods, and through serving children and families.
Elmington Elevates was conceptualized by volunteers that walked along side families and grew familiar with the challenges they were facing. Our founding Board Members were part of the Senior Leadership of the Elmington companies and they sought to serve others and engage Elmington employees in a meaningful way. They knew that their employees were service driven, talented people. Beyond that, our communities are filled with giving, philanthropic, and caring people.
Our Why.

1. For every child enrolled in a program, there are 3 on the waiting list. Access to any after school care is at a crisis level. But access to AFFORDABLE care remains an even bigger concern.
2. Parents are seeking after school programs and indicate that:
a. 77% feel that it excites their kids for learning
b. 73% feel it keeps their children out of trouble
c. 81% feel these programs build important life skills
d. 83% say after school programs give them peace of mind -
1. After school programs play a vital role in turning the hours between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. into a time of opportunity for our young people, with the 70% drop in juvenile crime corresponding with the rise in availability of afterschool opportunities across the country.
2. It is believed that there are over 263,000 waiting to be enrolled in an after-school care program
